Due to the corona virus, all master classes have been suspended until further notice.
Because we want to share what we know and discover with tomorrow’s producers and designers, we host master classes right here on our own grounds. This makes our small-scale process completely transparent, from goat to garment and from sheep to sweater. We believe this transparency offers valuable insights to anyone involved in any material’s supply chain. Between 09:00 and 17:00 we take participants through all the steps, from animal friendly farming, via sustainable yielding and processing, to a locally produced and fairly priced piece. It goes without saying that the master classes include working on our knitting machines and watching the full documentary From Goat To Garment.
To maximize positive effects, the master classes are mainly aimed at professionals (we want to promote wool to the whole world, so all interested groups are welcome!). Students, teachers, designers, and product developers see their industry from a different angle. They learn how to make conscious decisions when working with wool.
Are you a designer, teacher, student, brand owner, product developer, department store manager, fashion editor, or any other kind of fashion professional who wants to learn more about sustainable wool production? Or are you looking for a meaningful and different kind of group activity to embark on with your friends or colleagues?
Please contact us at email@example.com so we can plan a day on the farm for you!
“Now I understand the theory they’ve been teaching me in school.”
“We feel we know a thing or two about knitting in our organization, but these two professional women taught us a lot!”
