Alpacas are mainly found in South America but we have them right here in the Netherlands too! Amy is a super soft beanie made from local alpacas. With several Dutch alpaca breeders we sourced the best and softest wool. The wool of the alpaca is extra warm because it consists of hollow fibers. The hollow fibers provide extra warmth so you can definitely turn This sweater is knitted in our mini factory in Baambrugge.

The amazing properties of alpaca wool

Alpaca wool is light, super soft, and strong. This wool is unique because of its semi-hollow fiber, this makes it extra insulating. Alpaca is warmer and stronger than that of any other mammal. Wool cools you down in summer and keeps you comfortably warm in winter. On top of all this, wool has antibacterial qualities and it’s completely biodegradable. It requires little care, as wool is self cleaning, so some fresh air is enough to keep enjoying your favourite sweater for years.

We work with the Made To Order principle. No sweater or shawl is made before you place an order. After 1 week your specially knitted beanie will be ready. Rest assured, it’s worth the wait. The MTO principle also allows you to indicate special size requirements.
