We have processed our own Merino wool with alpaca from Westerlee in Groningen. The binding thread consists of wool from the blue Texel. The alpaca makes the yarn very soft. A wonderfully light yarn consisting of one thick thread. Color is natural white with a blue-brown binding thread. This yarn has its natural color and is washed and spun in Belgium, all without chemicals.
A 100 gram ball of Dutch Alpaca holds about 80 meters. We recommend that you always knit a sample first and then wash to check the number of rows and stitches.
