With the 'Eri' KNIT-KIT you can now knit yourself with our beautiful mohair. With this kit you can make a nice and warm scarf which is also nice in summer! Wool has the amazing property to cool you down in summer and keep you warm in winter. The Eri is a textural scarf with a sophisticated look but easy to knit. The pattern is for beginners as well! We also have Eri as a shawl which is twice as wide as the scarf. Both kits contain balls of mohair from our own goats, and the knitting pattern for the chosen Eri. The scarf has 4 balls of yarn, and the shawl 8. A nice gift for someone else, or yourself!

This yarn is made from the mohair wool of young Dutch goats, a great itch free material. The yarn is GOTS certified washed and dyed in Italy.

The amazing properties of mohair wool

Mohair wool is light, super soft, and strong. It has a beautiful shine and a lovely furry texture, is elastic, and regulates humidity. On top of all this, mohair has antibacterial qualities and it’s completely biodegradable. It requires little care, as wool is self cleaning, so some fresh air is enough to keep enjoying your favourite item for years.

Choose your colour and size

The Eri KNIT-KIT is available in three colors: Light Blue, Dark Blue, and Dark Grey. This yarn is made following the GOTS standard, which means that the use of chemicals is minimized. Besides that it is made from 100% mohair, which makes it well recyclable.
The scarf is 30x180 cm and the shawl 60x180 cm.

By buying one of our items you invest in research, material and machines that stimulate the exchange of knowledge and increase of awareness about the production of sustainable wool.

A 50 gram ball of Dutch Mohair contains about 100 meters. We recommend you to knit a sample and wash to check the number of rows and stitches. After washing you can put the cloth in the dryer on lukewarm for 10 minutes to get the best hairy result.
