The special properties of Dutch wool and alpaca
Wool from the traditional Dutch sheep has the characteristic that it has a tougher appearance due to its coarser wool fibres. Alpaca wool is light, super soft and strong. This is a perfect match. The blue Texel is used as a binding thread with a great effect. Wool fibers are very elastic and have a moisture-regulating capacity. The wool cools in the summer and warms in the winter, is highly resistant to bacteria, is fire-resistant and biodegradable. Wool has a self-cleaning capacity and therefore hardly needs to be washed. Airing is often more than enough. Your favorite sweater will last for generations.
Choose your color and your size
The Joris is available in four different colours. The colors Taupe, Off White and Sand are undyed. Dark blue is GOTS certified dyed which means that as few harmful substances as possible have been used. Our model Lotte is 1.83 cm and is wearing a size M. In size M, the sweater has a length (highest shoulder point to the bottom of the collar) of 56 cm, sleeve length 62 cm. If you want to adjust your (sleeve) length slightly, let us know in the comments with your order!
