The amazing properties of mohair wool
Mohair wool is light, super soft, and strong. It has a beautiful shine and a lovely furry texture, is elastic, and regulates humidity. This wool cools you down in summer and keeps you comfortably warm in winter. On top of all this, mohair has antibacterial qualities and it’s completely biodegradable. It requires little care, as wool is self cleaning, so some fresh air is enough to keep enjoying your favourite sweater for years.
Choose your colour and size
Nena is available in 7 colours: Dark Blue, Light Grey, Taupe, Light Blue, Dark Grey, and Blossom (soft pink). It also comes in the goats’ natural color, off-white. All our dyed yarn is made following the GOTS standard. This means the use of chemicals is minimized. In order to recycle properly, we are switching to mono raw material: the colors light blue and blossom are already 100% mohair.
The sweater has a round neck, long sleeves and a slightly baggy body. Length of the sweater falls to just on your waistband. Sleeve length (measured from the center back) is 80 cm. If you want to adjust your (sleeve) length slightly, let us know in the comments with your order.
Made To Order
We work with the Made To Order principle. No sweater or shawl is made before you place an order. After 2-4 weeks your specially knitted sweater will be ready. Rest assured, it’s worth the wait. The MTO principle also allows you to indicate special size requirements.
