The amazing properties of merino wool
The fiber of the wool of merino sheep is much thinner and therefore softer than the wool of traditional Dutch sheep. The wool adapts to the environment. It is elastic, and regulates humidity. This wool cools you down in summer and keeps you comfortably warm in winter. On top of all this, mohair has antibacterial qualities and it’s completely biodegradable. It requires little care, as wool is self cleaning, so some fresh air is enough to keep enjoying your favourite sweater for years.
Choose your colour and size
Our merino colors are undyed, dyed naturally or synthetically. The colors sand and taupe are the natural colors of the coat of a sheep. The synthetic dyed wool in dark blue and dark grey is GOTS certified washed and dyed. This certificate stand for the most sustainable way of dying. The natural dyed dark blue and dark grey is painted with natural indigo and with wood bark. Please keep in mind that the colorfastness of natural dyed wool is little less than the synthetic one. The length of the sweater in size L is 65 cm from the center back and the sleeve length is 90 cm. You can alter the dimensions, please mention in the notes when you order.
Made To Order
We work with the Made To Order principle. No sweater or shawl is made before you place an order. After 2-4 weeks your specially knitted sweater will be ready. Rest assured, it’s worth the wait. The MTO principle also allows you to indicate special size requirements.
