The special properties of mohair

Mohair is a versatile, natural fiber that has many characteristics that make it wonderful for all kinds of garments. Not only does mohair have a beautiful shine and fluffy texture, it is also soft, lightweight and durable. Garments made from mohair are very breathable, meaning that they stay cool in the summer and keep you warm in the winter. Additionally mohair has antibacterial properties so garments hardly need to be washed; airing them out is often more than enough. This way your favorite sweater will last for generations.

Alongside all these incredible qualities that make this multifaceted fiber excellent to wear, our mohair is also environmentally conscious. All the mohair is biodegradable and responsibly sourced. This means that, through the whole supply chain, the mohair produced meets certain standards of transparency, animal welfare and environmental responsibility.

 Choose your color and size

You can choose from eleven colors for this beanie: dark blue, light blue, taupe (gray-brown), flowerstem (green), winterdew (gray-purple), ocher (golden yellow), petrol, anemone and blossom (soft pink). The off-white is the natural color of the mohair goat and not dyed. All yarns of our synthetic colors are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals has been reduced to a minimum.

The Betsie is 32 cm long with a folded ribbed brim that is 12 cm. When the brim is folded, the total length of the beanie is 22cm. The width is 22 cm.

 Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we only start producing your item after your order. The delivery time is 1 week. But we promise you: it's worth the wait. And the nice thing about this: you can also specify your wishes if you want the item to be made a little shorter or longer, for example.
