The special properties of Dutch wool and alpaca

Wool from traditional Dutch sheep is characterized by a tougher appearance due to its coarser wool fibers. Alpaca wool is light, super soft and strong. This is a perfect match. Wool fibers are very elastic and have a moisture-regulating capacity. The wool cools in the summer and warms in the winter, is very resistant to bacteria, is fire-resistant and biodegradable. Wool has a self-cleaning ability and therefore hardly needs to be washed. Venting is often more than enough.

The mittens are 3D knitted and seamless. They are also washed in a special way after making. The yarn has felt a bit, making it even less breathable.

Choose your color and size

These gloves are available in four colours: off-white, sand, taupe, and dark blue. The off-white and sand colours are the natural colours of Dutch wool and are undyed. All yarns of our synthetic colours are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals is kept to a minimum.

The Daisy are 26 cm long and 10 cm wide. These mittens cover your hands from just above the knuckles to about halfway up the forearm.

Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we will only start producing your item after you have placed your order. We usually knit the mittens within a week. You can also indicate your wishes if, for example, you want the item to be made slightly shorter or longer.
