Long women's cardigan made of Dutch mohair

The Jet is a long and loose-fitting cardigan that is the ideal piece for layering. Made from sustainably-sourced mohair from young Dutch goats, this wool doesn’t itch and is crease-resistant. This cardigan falls to knee-length and has a V-neck. The Jet can be ordered with or without buttons.

The special properties of mohair

Mohair is a versatile, natural fiber that has many characteristics that make it wonderful for all kinds of garments. Not only does mohair have a beautiful shine and fluffy texture, it is also soft, lightweight and durable. Garments made from mohair are very breathable, meaning that they stay cool in the summer and keep you warm in the winter. Additionally mohair has antibacterial properties so garments hardly need to be washed; airing them out is often more than enough. This way your favorite sweater will last for generations.

Alongside all these incredible qualities that make this multifaceted fiber excellent to wear, our mohair is also environmentally conscious. All the mohair is biodegradable and responsibly sourced. This means that, through the whole supply chain, the mohair produced meets certain standards of transparency, animal welfare and environmental responsibility.

 Choose your color and size

This cardigan comes in nine colors: dark blue, chocolate, light blue, blossom (soft pink), aubergine, flower stem (green), and winter dew (greyish purple). The off-white is the natural color of the goat and is undyed. All yarns in our synthetic colors are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals has been reduced to a minimum.

This cardigan falls to knee length. The length of the cardigan in size medium (from the highest point of the shoulder) is 90 cm. The sleeve length from center back is 78 cm. The chest width in size medium is 58 cm.

If you need to adjust the size, please mention this in the order notes.

 Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we will only start producing your item after you have placed your order. The delivery time is 2-4 weeks. But we promise: it's worth the wait. And the nice thing about this: you can also indicate your wishes if, for example, you want the item to be made slightly shorter or longer.
