The Anne is a cozy ribbed women's cardigan with dropped shoulders, ready for layering in the colder months. Made from 100% Dutch alpaca, this vest feels wonderfully soft on the skin and does not itch or wrinkle. All our alpacas come from the Netherlands and are spun and dyed in Italy.

All our products are developed and knitted in our mini factory in Baambrugge.

The special properties of alpaca

Alpaca wool is a natural fiber that is made from the fleece of alpacas and has many characteristics that make it wonderful for all kinds of garments. This fiber is ultra soft, durable and exceptionally thermal-insulating, meaning that you’ll stay cool in the summer and keep you warm in the winter. The reason for this is due to Alpaca’s hollow fibers which allows for breathability. Additionally alpaca is hypoallergenic and has antibacterial properties so garments hardly need to be washed; airing them out is often more than enough. This way your favorite sweater will last for generations.

Alpacas are mainly found in South America, but we also have them here in the Netherlands! All of our alpaca is sustainably sourced from the Netherlands and we have selected the softest wool with various Dutch alpaca breeders!

Choose your color and your size

You can choose from four colors for this cardigan: dark blue, off white, blossom (light pink) and camel. The camel and the off white has the natural color of the alpaca wool and is not dyed. All yarns of our synthetic colors are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals has been reduced to a minimum.

This cardigan is a little over-sized and falls to the hips. In size medium, the length of the cardigan (from the highest shoulder point) is 65 cm, sleeve length (from center back) is 80 cm and chest width is 70 cm.

Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we will only start producing your item after you have placed your order. The delivery time is 2-4 weeks. But we promise: it's worth the wait. And the nice thing about this: you can also indicate your wishes if, for example, you want the item to be made slightly shorter or longer.

This cardigan is available in two lengths, a long and a short model. The Anne you see here is the short model.
