The special properties of mohair

Mohair has an additional character trait of a beautiful shine and its hairy texture makes it super soft, light and durable. Wool fibers are very elastic and have a moisture-regulating capacity. This wool cools in the summer and warms in the winter, is very resistant to bacteria, is fire-resistant and biodegradable. Wool has a self-cleaning ability and therefore hardly needs to be washed. Venting is often more than enough. This way your favorite cardigan will last for generations.

Choose your color and size

The Bien Cardigan is available in eight colours: dark blue, chocolate, light blue, blossom (soft pink), green, aubergine, flower stem (green), and winter dew (grey-purple). The off-white is the natural colour of the goat and is not dyed. All yarns for our synthetic colours are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals has been reduced to a minimum. To facilitate good recycling, we are transitioning to mono-material: the yarns for the light blue and blossom colours are already made from 100% mohair.

The Bien Cardigan falls to the waistband and has a 7 cm ribbed hem. The length of the cardigan (from the highest shoulder point) is 56 cm. Sleeve length from the centre back is 51 cm, and the chest width is 58 cm for size s/m.

Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we will only start producing your item after you have placed your order. The delivery time is 2-4 weeks. But we promise: it's worth the wait. And the nice thing about this: you can also indicate your wishes if, for example, you want the item to be made slightly shorter or longer.

Bien is a lovely summer cardigan, made from soft and lightweight mohair from young Dutch goats. Due to the elasticity of mohair, the Bien retains its shape over time and is wrinkle-free. Vest Bien does not itch, is light and feels wonderfully soft. The sleeves are three-quarter length and knitted in a butterfly model.
