Mohair has an additional character trait of a beautiful shine and its hairy texture makes it super soft, light and durable. Wool fibers are very elastic and have a moisture-regulating capacity. This wool cools in the summer and warms in the winter, is very resistant to bacteria, is fire-resistant and biodegradable. Wool has a self-cleaning ability and therefore hardly needs to be washed. Venting is often more than enough. This way your favorite sweater will last for generations.

This sweater is available in nine colours: dark blue, chocolate, light blue, aubergine, green, blossom (soft pink), flower stem (green) and winter dew (grey-purple). The off-white is the natural colour of the goat and is not dyed. All the yarns of our synthetic colours are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals has been reduced to a minimum. To ensure good recycling, we are switching to mono-material: the yarn of the light blue and blossom colours are already made of 100% mohair.

This sweater falls to the waistband and has a slightly tighter hem. The length of the sweater in size medium (from the highest shoulder point) is 56 cm. Sleeve length from the centre back is 80 cm.

Women's sweater made of Dutch mohair

The Daan is a classic women's sweater made from soft and lightweight mohair from young Dutch goats. Due to the elasticity of mohair, the Daan retains its shape over time and is wrinkle-free. This sweater does not itch and can be worn directly on the skin.
