Love for knitting
My first contact with textiles was in kindergarten, where I made my very first small weaving project. After that, it was almost ten years before I started working with textiles again. First with sewing and eventually with knitting. I ultimately studied fine arts, with a focus on textiles and text.
How I got here
At The Knitwit Stable, I work as a linker, and I ended up here through a friend who recommended the position to me. Since then, it feels like everything is falling perfectly into place.
I find it special to work in the countryside and be so close to the sheep and goats; they are almost our colleagues. They form the starting point of everything we make here. It gives a completely different feeling when you know exactly where your material comes from. In addition, it's just nice to work with beautiful, natural materials and be part of a team that carefully and diligently creates products that last.
Favorite from the collection
At the moment, my favorite is one of our newest styles: the Donna, which was recently added to the collection. A beautiful piece that perfectly brings together everything we stand for.
