Origin

Where the wool begins.

Our wool originates from the Dutch landscape.
Wind, rain, and open land shape the fiber even before a thread is spun.

Fiber

The nature of the wool

After shearing, the wool is carefully selected.
The properties of the fiber ultimately determine the structure, warmth, and feel of the knit.

yarn

The basis of every knit.

The wool is spun into yarn.
This forms the basis for a knit that combines strength, softness, and resilience.

Knit

Designed from wool.

Only now does the wool get its shape. Not the other way around. The properties of the yarn determine how the knit feels, wears, and protects.

Wearing for years

Built to last.

A good knit gets better with every wear. Designed to become part of your wardrobe, season after season.

Construction

This is what gives this knit its character

Veen is knitted in our own knitting studio at the farm in Baambrugge on a machine for coarser yarns. The jacquard pattern is built directly into the knit with two colors. It has a resemblance to a Nordic sweater, but the color gradient and the reference to the Dutch landscape give it a unique character. The washing and further finishing also take place in the Netherlands.

Built to last

Not designed for one season, but to be a part of your wardrobe for years to come.
