The Amy is a warm, ribbed beanie with a folded edge that fits snugly on the head. Made from 100% Dutch Alpaca, this hat is extremely soft and warm and does not itch. All our alpacas come from the Netherlands and are spun and dyed in Italy.

All our products are developed and knitted in our mini factory in Baambrugge.

The special properties of alpaca

Alpaca wool is a natural fiber that is made from the fleece of alpacas and has many characteristics that make it wonderful for all kinds of garments. This fiber is ultra soft, durable and exceptionally thermal-insulating, meaning that you’ll stay cool in the summer and keep you warm in the winter. The reason for this is due to Alpaca’s hollow fibers which allows for breathability. Additionally alpaca is hypoallergenic and has antibacterial properties so garments hardly need to be washed; airing them out is often more than enough. This way your favorite sweater will last for generations.

Alpacas are mainly found in South America, but we also have them here in the Netherlands! All of our alpaca is sustainably sourced from the Netherlands and we have selected the softest wool with various Dutch alpaca breeders!

Choose your color and size

You can choose from four colors for this beanie: dark blue, off white, blossom (light pink) and camel. The camel is the natural color of the alpaca wool and not dyed. All yarns of our synthetic colors are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals has been reduced to a minimum.

This beanie fits snuggly to the head. The total length is 30 cm. When the brim is folded, the beanie measurements 21cm long. The width of the beanie is 22 cm.

Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we only start producing your item after you have placed your order. The delivery time is 1 week. But we promise: it's worth the wait. And the nice thing about this: you can also indicate your wishes if, for example, you want the item to be made slightly shorter or longer.
