Dutch wool
± 100 gr. / ± 120 m
A beautiful traditional Dutch yarn.
This yarn is a mix of wool from traditional Dutch sheep and Alpaca. Traditional Dutch sheep produce a tough, rough wool and the alpaca makes it a bit softer. This way, this wool remains just below the itch point for most people. The sand, taupe and natural off white are the natural colors of the sheep and alpacas. The dark blue is GOTS certified washed and dyed, which means that it has been dyed with as few harmful dyes as possible. You can see the yarn on the website in a sweater in our style Dirko and Aggie. For the Dorus hat you need about 100 grams.
There is approximately 120 meters in a 100 gram ball of Dutch Wool. We advise you to always knit a test piece first and then wash it to check the number of rows and stitches.
Knitting Tension: Swatch 10 x 10 cm = 12.5 stitches and 20 rows after washing. Needle number 8.
Washing instructions: 30 degrees wool wash, dry flat.
